Hi,
My youngest son has dived into Pokemon like full on in the last few months or so. He watches a lot of Pokemon videos on youtube for the video and card games, as well as watching the old Pokemon show on Netflix. There are a few things he has asked for or shown interest in. I know there are a lot of Pokemon fans here on this forum, so I figured if I could find my answers easily, in a friendly environment it would be here.
1. He's asked for Pokemon Diamond for his DS Lite. Is there any other console or handheld (I have N64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GB Advance, and DS Lite) that are good? I am not sure why he wants Diamond as his first game, maybe a specific Pokemon is in it he likes. So I am sorry I can't really give any other parameters to help with suggestions on games.
2. He's shown interest in the Pokemon cards too. These look like the series of some of the ones he has that a friend gave him....
Are there any suggestions as to specific starter packs and/or booster packs (I am not overly familiar with card games, but have done some collectible cards) that would just get him started with a good deck to play with his friend? If these are even still on the market.
3. He got a book, Pokemon Essential Handbook, that he is always looking through and reading. Are there any other such comprehensive books with pictures and statistics of the Pokemons that exist? He seems to like to read and study the Pokemons as much as play the card game and watch the videos.
